When we woke up this morning we could see Hot air Balloons gliding past our camp spot

Canberra Rest Days

To Canberra

It was a lot nicer this morning setting off. No gale force winds



It was hazy from fog and smoke from the fires in Melbourne



In Michelago I had company while I was waiting for Werner



Even followed me to the toilets



Made it into another state the ACT

I could see the outer suburbs of Canberra



A roundabout I got badly lost but got back on track again thanks to Navman

To Cooma

Still a bit dark when we got up and packed up



Werner found it a bid fresh first thing this morning



About 2 km' s of road works ahead realigning the road



After reaching the Great Dividing Ranges heading towards Cooma with a very strong headwind



Just coming into Cooma a Town of 8ooo. Werner will be awhile before he gets here



At long last he made it also to Cooma and having a well earned pie and chocolate drink



While I did some shopping Werner took this photo from where I parked the van as a hedge went up in flames

To Bombala

At the garage before we left putting air into the tires of the van and bike



We are heading for Bombala today and Cooma tomorrow



I made it across another state in the van this time into NSW



Werner's ride to day was full on with hills and headwind


At the shops in Bombala you can see we are half way to Sydney from Melbourne

Cann River Rest Day

When I went to have a shower this morning there was 2 Huntsman spiders in the shower



Werner is working hard to keep up his journal

To Cann River

Have no idea what I'm pointing at



Look really happy here not sure why



The last few km along the C107 was like this, a change from Farm land we had the last 2 days



First time I have seen a sign with Sydney on it

To Cape Conran

I spoke over lunch with this Milk tank driver just before Orbost, who was telling us about good camping spots along the Snowy River and the coast
