To WillowBrook Farm

Werner arriving at Cataby Road house.

The Brand Hwy

I waited at the Regan ford WindMill Road house for Werner and we had a early lunch here when he arrived

Two different ways to Perth just trying to confuse me.

It feels good to be getting closer to Perth

At the Willowbrook Farm camp ground there were lots of nice gardens.

Not the best of camp grounds but its only for one night.

To Resr Area on Brand Hwy

Corrina and Caleb at the Pinnicals

Caleb playing hide and seek

Mark and Allan enjoying the Pinnicals

After everyone had left on there trip back to Perth, Werner and I walked up to this lookout just outside Cervantes

It was a nice spot to take a personal Photo

Then it was back to Cervantes and after having lunch Werner got changed into his bike gear again and was off towards the Brand Hwy.

There was quite a steep hill to climb out of Cervantes and as I waited here I could see the town houses in the distance

There was lots of rolling hills not at all like I thought it would be.

It was good to get to the Brand Hwy.We did not want to travel this far today only we could not find a camp spot that we were aloud to stay.

To Cervantes

This has to be one of the big high lights of this trip after a year our family making a surprise visit early Saturday morning to Jurien. With lots of hugs and kisses and a few tears on my part I was so happy to see them and now I don't have to wait another week.

Caleb and Isabel have grown a lot,and when I left today towards Cervantes I had the company of Caleb with me in the van.

With Michael taking after his dad with the love of photography, we were lucky to get us both in the same photo on the road today

As usual I was waiting about 10 km down the road for Werner and today the family shared the wait with me

Allan had brought a tent so it was all hands on to set it up.

Isabel enjoyed the paddles

After Michael,Bernie and Isabel left today Werner,Mark,Corrina,Caleb and me went to the wharf so Mark could try and catch fish for dinner and you can see Caleb is helping.

I don't think Allan and Mark are looking for shells

To Jurien Bay

On the way to Jurien Bay I past lots of sand roads that lead down to the sand dunes, But not any good for the van

I stopped at Greenhead a small place 13 km from Leeman, there was this nice picnic area I stopped and waited for Werner

Werner arrived had coffee and then headed off again into some strong head winds

This is the view you get as you start to drive into Jurien, I am yet to go to beach so not sure what it looks like. I have heard about this place from Allan and Corrina over the years so it will be another place I can see for myself.

To Leeman

The road at times was not far away from the sea and I like the look of the large sand dunes, it would be great to slide down them, and I don't care how old I am I would still like to do it

Werner I know would like the strong south wind to stop

Just 8 km to go and I am wondering what the place looks like

The manager of the camp ground give me a good deal on this cabin. When Werner arrived I told him we new someone in this cabin and he wanted to no who as he did not know I had got it, so it was a nice surprise

The beach which was not far away looked really nice but the weather was too cold to enjoy it

To North Cliff Head

The look on Werner face tells me to hurry up with the photo as his pie is getting cold.

While Werner eat his Pie and Doughnut I walked up to the IGA to get fresh bread to take with us today and you can see how pretty the walk was, as past the large frig tree's

The camp stop was right at the waters edge its a shame that all the sea weed spoiled it

Being so close to the sea we had to put up this trap to shelter from the wind.

I was able to walk along the beach and look for shells,It was nice here so we stayed 2 days if we had a 4WD there were nicer sheltered spots we could have parked in.

To Dongara

Not a good day for riding a strong head wind as well as a bit of rain

Looking down at the camp ground in Dongara, it was a lot nicer than what I expected

It was nice to walk along the beach which was at the edge of the camp ground

This is looking down into the camp ground with a light house only about 600 meters away.

In the after noon we visited the HMS Sydney 11 Memorial

To Geralton

Werner waving goodbye to me,before he heads to Geraldton which is only 35 km away.

It did not take long to get there I can already see the outskirts. Most of the drive from our camp spot last night had lots of corners with double white lines most of the way.I was glad to get to the camp ground as the traffic got heavier the closer I got. The weather is cold and rain is on its way sorry not many photo's.

To Rest Area 17km past Northampton

I had already driven 5 km out of Port Gregory and could see it was only 42 to go to Northampton. The edges of the road were very soft so I had to be careful where I pulled over.

Werner on the bridge taking photo's of I don't know what, but he must have spotted something.

I stopped here and could see Northampton in the far distance

After leaving Northampton we carried on to this free camp spot which was quite muddy in places so Werner had to watch where he was cycling when he arrived
