House is on the market

Today we had the first time open home from 2 pm - 3.15 pm. So, again no riding this morning as we had to get a few things ready for this afternoon. Could not ask Jenny to do it all by herself and I go for a ride, I think it'd would not have gone down to well.
By 2 pm John arrived and we went for a drive to Osborne to have a look at small light and cheap Laptops.

On the way home we stopped by Subway to buy some lunch for us. Jenny got me a foot long and she had 1/2 a foot Bun. It was just 3.15 pm and we been thinking go home and eat it there. As we came around the corner in Hillwood Ave we went straight past our place, as 2 cars been parked out side our place and a couple just left the place. so around the block we went and stopped by the park and had our lunch there.
About 20 min later we went home and John was about ready to pack up. He told us the response from people that went through the House was very good. one of the remark was, that the price was about right and not over prized as a lot of places they have seen . John said one guy will be ringing him back tomorrow. Another couple with a small children are very keen, but must sell the unit they own first before they can do more. In all we had 15 different couples going through the House.
We are very pleased with the turn out for the first open home and we will have another one next Sunday.

Lots and lots of Rain

This is what we had on our screen at 6 am. We had planned to go for a ride this morning down to Fremantle, but no way we said.

It stopped raining after lunch and by then we had more than 60 mm of rain. At least the average for the year got a good lift and but put it ahead. The only problem was , as soon as it stopped raining and the sun made an appearance , the humidity went sky high and it was not very nice.

It's all happening !

After no action last week with the guys that doing the pool, it looks like we maybe getting something done this week. On Monday there was no way of any work because of the rain we had. At least by Tuesday at about 11 am 1 guy turned up to start to do some work. He's name is Scott and he is from Queensland. By about 4.45 pm he done just about the all of the Fiberglass and the first coat.

Another good day as Scott started working at 10.30 am. Can not complain as this is the second day in a row he is doing some work on the pool. Today he finished what was left from yesterday. After that it was painting it with Pacific Blue. Guess what, he painted the pool finish and did not even run out on paint, rollers or something else.
