Arrived in Busselton

Another beautiful day. We left Australind at about 9 am and headed towards Capel which is about 33 km away where I will meet up with Werner. Thank you Navman you have saved Werner a few phone calls about me being lost. I parked in a shady place in Capel and took a walk around the shops. This did not take long as it is only a small place. It’s now 11.05 am and still no Werner. Maybe he needed my Navman. Just kidding the camera would have slowed him down. Werner arrived at 11.20 am and guess what he needed my Navman. He greeted me with a big smile on his face, saying he took a shortcut which took him 10 km in the wrong direction. After we had lunch I headed toBusselton while Werner took the scenic route. Arrived in Busselton at 12.30 pm and booked us into a Caravan Park. Then went back to town and did some Groceries shopping. We found the Camp grounds very clean and best kitchen I have seen yet.

Forpark Play ground in Capel. Brought back memories from the last job Werner had.

This is a place Werner said, He and Vreni had lunch last year on her visit from Switzerland.

Sign out side the Camp Ground we stayed at.

Parked up for the night.

On our way to Australind

Here we are cooling off our feet in the Leschenault Inlet

At 7 am it was coffee time and make plans for today. I’m driving ahead of Werner how far depend on where we are. Werner is a very organized person and I’m not always so it gives me time to organize things before Werner arrives. I arrived in Australind save and well where I did some shopping and then carried on to book a campsite about 4 km further on.

Just having a relaxing afternoon under the Bridge in Australind

Here we go

Leaving Lower Chittering on Monday morning. Bernie and Isabel waving us good bye.

That's where we stayed for our last night in Perth. The Karrinyup Camp Ground and Resort.

Well at long last we have started our trip. And I am days behind in doing our Blog.

Which now is a big part of my responsibility as Werner will spend more time on crazyguyonabike journal.

I’m feeling nervous, exited and a bit tearful all at the same time. The tearfulness was saying goodbye to the family. I always knew it would be hard for me to say goodbye as family is very important to me. But I new all would be ok once I had got on the way and could relax and enjoy it all.

Getting comfortable after a long days travel.

There always has been a big joke about my driving ability to get lost. So Werner has bought me a Navman in hope it might help.

My first stop was in Mandurah where I did a small shop while I was waiting for Werner

and changed into cooler cloths. When Werner arrived I looked in the back of the Van and said to myself, that didn’t take long to become unorganized but I have another 1 year and a bit to come right.

Then off to Lake Clifton Camp Ground. The owner was a lovely lady how recommended to go next door to the Pub while I was waiting for Werner to arrive. At 3.45 pm Werner arrived having done 110 km and feeling good about it. I made pasta salad with ham.

The Mosquitoes visited us around 5.30 so it was a shower and a quick cover up. After talking about today’s events it was sleep time

And how is this for a Dinner.
