To Shannon NP

I drove today to Northcliffe first where I will wait for Werner before heading to Shannon NP for 2 nights stay. All has gone very well so far and we are both enjoying every minute.

Nannup to Pemberton

Waking up to a very cold morning it was hard to get started. Before we left Nannup we had to vote at the Shire of Nannup building. And I visited the Market opposite. Then I headed to Pemberton arriving about 12 o’clock the drive through the Nation parks is beautiful. Werner arrived about 2.30 pm.

We went for a walk around the town before settling in for the night.

Nannup

Making Coffee and warming my hands at the same time

After another good night it was time to leave the camp ground. And as I was leaving Werner asked please get some petrol on the way out of Busselton.

Well Panic was the first thing that comes to mind. Werner wants me to find my way out and get petrol. I don’t like getting petrol normally. I know its easy but just one of those things with me. OK in the middle of the night or 5 am in the morning when there is no other cars around to watch me fiddle with the petrol hose that wont work properly for me. From the look on my face Werner asked if I wanted him to wait at the petrol station and help you know my answer.

Every thing worked out fine. So here I come, Nannup. I must not forget to take photos today. Last night Werner asked how many I had taken that today and I said 2 not a good figure. When Werner sister Vreni from Switzerland was staying with us it was a competition who took the most photos between the 3 of us.

I will take more today.

After about 23 km at the top of a hill I pulled off the road with a good view off seeing Werner come and maybe take some hill climbing shots and while waiting made a coffee and did some writing. I hope I don’t miss him and he rides pass.

I arrived Nannup at 1 pm what a pretty place beautiful flowers every where. Also there I received a SMS to tell me my grandson had done very well in school sports.

Well done Caleb

I book us into a camp town and went to get a few groceries before Werner arrived.
