To Longford

Werner took this photo. You can see the van as a small dot along the road 3/4 way down the hill



The road down was steep and very windy which meant a slow drive down for me



And you also had to put up with this racing Log trucks just passing Werner at the moment



Looking back up the mountain somewhere up in those clouds we sleep last night



Turned off the main road and took a back way into Longford



After we booked the CG we went for a drive to Perth in Tasmania

To Mt Blackwood Lookout

Looks like I have to support 2 bikers now as this shadow rider is following Werner all morning



Leaving after we had our first stop this morning



Werner is looking back to see where he has come from



I can see that the road ahead is going into the hills



Werner is trying to bet this 4W drive to the top of the worst hill today he biked up



At long last a bit of a flat and straight road for a change



Werner done 46 km of riding so far today



This is the highest point of today's trip. The van is glad to have some downhill for a change as he climbed from 350 m to 1193 m



Our home for tonight and what a view. Past that edge it is going down for 700m

Bothwell Rest Day

We camped behind the Golf Museum and Info center in Bothwell



And catching up on some washing



Mt Adelaide lookout we walked up and the big city of Bothwell at the bottom
