To Maryborough

Meeting up with Werner after leaving Larry's and Kristen's place in Gympie, making sure we are on the same road as navman likes confusing me some times.



30 km on our way today was time for coffee and Werner is just about here



A big part of todays drive was through pine plantations



Werner has done 81km with about another 12 to go



One of the roads today which I know Werner will enjoy for a change straight and no hills as it has been along time since we have seen this.



At last all set up at Maryborough camp ground

Rest day at Larry and Kristine's place

We went for a drive to Tin Can Bay and it was raining heaps

At the station at Dagun where we brought pineapples for $ 1 each.



Werner was so proud of his 2 baby's .

To Gympie

Just passed the camp place Werner getting ready to start the day.



Here I was waiting for Werner as it was now time to leave the back roads and go onto the Bruce High way



Here is Larry talking to Werner just before giving me directions how to get to his place.Larry met me just outside Gympie where I was sitting having a coffee waiting for Werner and said he was following our journal. He offered us accommodation on his 19 acre property about 12 km outside Gympie

The view from the back off Larry's and Kristine's place. They have 3 year old twins and a one year old so Kristine is a very busy mum. They were wonderful host and offered us to stay one more day in there sleep out which Werner reckons the bed was bigger than the van.
