Birthday

First Thanks to my beautiful Family in Perth for phone calls wishing me happy birthday,Thank you to Werner's family in Switzerland and my best friends in NZ and to many friends in Australia it really made my day feel so special.





Allan,Corrina,Caleb and Jonah on Skype celebrating my birthday.Thank you so much, looks like Corrina is getting a good licking from Jonah



Thank you Daphne and Erwin in New Zealand for the birthday wishes such great friends more like the sister I never had.



Werner got me a cake and put wheels on it like the van so it was time to blow out the candle and end this wonderful day in this very nice cabin.

To Cairns

We had trouble starting the van today, but after we got it going we notice a leak from the radiator hose so I drove 1 km to the township of Babinda where Werner cut the hose and reconnected it, we will replace it in Cairns.



It was also raining today when we started with heaps of traffic on the road as it is a long weekend here.



We drove into Cairns after booking into a camp ground about 12-14 km out, as it is so busy here this weekend. This statue was a bright green so just had to have a photo next to it seeing my special colour is green

To Babinda

Werner coming in for a coffee at Tully after doing 34 km.



On each side of the road was heaps of Banana plantations.I expected to see Werner come in with a bunch on the back of the bike.



This was a free camp spot in Babinda. There was lots of cane toad frogs around.



This nice river was right next door to the camp spot,but I'm not going in I will leave it for the croc's
