To Ipswich

Leaving Warwick and our nice camp kitchen

On my way out of Warwick this was one of three big churches I passed.

10 km done and still another 106 km to get to Ipswich today with rain clouds around.

It was coffee time before a climb up to the top of Cunningham Gap which goes up to 728 m

At the top was a beautiful bush walk to a lookout. At the bottom of the hill it was farmland then suddenly it changed into a beautiful sub topical rain Forrest.

At the top you can lookout over the valleys of Fassifern

This place was amazing

Now it was time for the steep descent which I know Werner is going to enjoy

At Aratula there was this lovely bakery and Werner just needed more calories to get him through the rest of today's ride

Werner just finishing today's ride of 117km on the out skirts of Ipswich where we will put the bike on the back and find a camp ground. Then tomorrow we will go closer into Brisbane and spend a few days sight seeing

To Warwick

The weather looked ok on this side of town before we left this morning

Leaving on the other side of Tenterfield it was a different story thick fog everywhere

Can see how far away we are from Brisbane and Warwick, which is our destination for today

Soon the fog lifted and disappeared and the blue sky was back again

The fence indicates the border of NSW and QLD

I had so much fun playing on the tractor, just like Isabel, until Werner arrived

Sure enough he wanted to have a turn too, I should have known

Arriving in Warwick QLD feels strange as we used to live in Warwick in WA

Werner is taking a well earned rest after cycling 117 km today

Werner possing on the way up to the Thunderbolt Lookout

I'm putting the camera away so I can use both hands to get up these stairs

But the view at the top was worth the hard work
