To Cardwell

Werner drinking and riding, just as well its only water



Have not seen this sign for a while and there was a 8 and 12 % on the other side Werner had to come up.



I parked the van at Cardwell, beside this beach nice spot



While I was waiting I had a visit from a rooster,there was about 6 of them around the place.



This sign was also there, my first crocodile warning.



Time to enjoy a coffee with Werner at a coffee shop in Cardwell.



I wanted to sit at a table and normal chairs,but Werner chose more comfortable ones after hours on the bike seat I don't blame him.

At the CG there was a swimming,but Werner only went this far in as it was very cold.

To Rollingstone

This is the budget cabin we stayed in for 2 days

To Townsville

I'm getting closer and closer towards Cairns



There were lots of roadworks for the last 20 km into Townsville



I waited at this sign to get a photo of Werner as he arrived here

To Ayr

Early morning start out of Bowen sun just starting to rise



Werner has already done 30 km and the shadows are still long as it is only 8 o'clock

To Proserpine

Werner is coming in for a pit stop in Mount Ossa and already cycled 48 km



3 main features of today and there were lots of Trucks, Sugar Cane fields and Hills



113 km since we left Mackay and another 10 km to drive to Proserpine



Werner had a realy good day and still feels fresh

CG was full of Rainbow Lorikeets in late afternoon.



Went sight seeing around the beaches in Mackay. Only problem the tide was a long way out
