It rained a lot last night as you can see, our roof tarp is like a swimming pool
As it was Easter,Werner decided to buy a bacon and egg pie at this bakery on the way out of Bundaberg forgot to mention the chocolate eclair as well.
I stopped near here and brought same nice cheap banana's while waiting for Werner
Also brought this very large pineapple for $ 1.50
You can see on this Photo the number plate on the van has been moved as today I was stopped by traffic cops and told I could be given a $350.00 fine because the number plate could not be seen clearly enough because of the bike on the back and I was also made to have a breath test.
When Werner arrived I told him it was all his fault he put the bike on the back. But it was all fine I had the number plate off before Werner arrived and we used string to fit it onto the bike bracket.
Werner was hot riding with this safety vest over his bike top so took off the bike top.It was not the sun but the humidity that was bad.
This ran out from behind the toilet I went to. At first I thought it was a rat as I only saw a tail disappear. But found it on the outside wall.
This is at Granite Creek where we will stay tonight. It is a 48 hour Free rest spot and this Easter weekend it has volunteers on for 24 hours, handing out free coffee, tea and biscuits to drivers
