To Boab Tree rest Area

This is what the supermarket and post office looks like in Fitzroy crossing, so it was no cake for Daphne's birthday and no post office to sent Bernie a card for her birthday by the 16th.

We were going to stay here tonight but after a few hours we carried on to the next rest area. Werner had already biked 88km this morning.

Lots of Boab trees around and it was usual to see them with leafs on. Well for me it is anyway.

There were a few places I had to detour as there was a lot of road works going on. The road was mostly gravel and dirt poor Werner.

But Werner made it OK once again. And now its just about dinner time, When we left this morning we did not intend to do 160km for the day.So now tomorrow might be a little less.

I am standing by the very large Boab tree that is at tonight's camp area. The tree is hollow but you cant go inside as some people have been using it as a toilet.
